Fiverr Pro Creates New Opportunities.
This seemed helpful. It comes from Gary North's partner, Richard Emmons, in a post titled, "Episode 144: Get Started with Fiverr," dated Wednesday, October 27, 2021.
Said she got 72 orders, most of which came from blog posts and articles for people with websites who need articles. She does Pinterest, where she manages Pinterest services for other companies. And then she does consultation and optimization services, where she reviews accounts and directs them on how to grow their accounts for people who have Pinterest accounts for the blog, their business, or their store. For a consultation, she charges $60 to go into their Pinterest account and figure ways they can grow the account monthly themselves. She also charges $300 to $400 for scheduled posts and page evaluation on blogs. With more reviews, more repeat clients, and more orders, she is able to charge a little more. So raising her prices helped her to earn more. One major change she made that she thinks made a big difference was that she added a Fiverr video to her Fiverr gig. Her repeat clients come back to her every month or a couple of weeks. Also, orders in the queue show up in Fiverr's algorithm and you tend to get more orders. It means you're offering up something that people are looking for. She is in a popular category: freelance writing. Social media management, video editing, and writing, and designing logsl. Maybe you can make 4 different gigs for that. Helps to find out which gigs get traction.
1. Use a picture.
2. List the benefits the client will receive from using me personally. Make sure that they know what they're going to get when they hire you.
3. In the title of your gig, use good keywords. It's a sales heading, for sure. What is your buyer searching for? Persuasive copy? Lead-generating blog posts?
4. Price your gigs low at first. $5. For the first 10 orders, then raise your prices.

Lesson Objective:
In
today's lesson, you'll get started with Fiverr by creating an account and your
Fiverr seller's profile.
Reading Assignment:
Here are 5 reasons why I recommend my
high school students get started as a freelancer on Fiverr:
1. Get clients without face-to-face
selling
2. Build a portfolio of completed
projects
3. Get testimonials from satisfied
clients
4. Gain confidence by completing
projects quickly, on time and done right
5. Make rookie mistakes with strangers
online rather than business owners in your hometown.
Bonus reason #6: You'll make money.
Fiverr used to be a burnout-inducing
treadmill because of the $5 fee. Now you can get started at $5 and undersell
top sellers with higher minimum fees. Later you can raise your minimum fee to
$10 (or more) and have fewer yet more profitable clients. Leave the $5 gigs to
someone else.
Fiverr provides you a selling platform,
customers, and a tracking system to complete orders and communicate with your
customers. Fiverr charges 20% for this service which is $1 of your $5 gig and
$10 of your $50 gig. This is a bargain which is why so many freelancers use it.
Fiverr is also very popular. According
to Alexa.com, Fiverr is the 157th most popular website in the United States and
#214 globally on 3/3/2021. Out of a billion websites out there, that's popular.
Take advantage of this.
